Domaine Ogereau, Côteaux du Layon Le Saint Lambert 2022

Domaine Ogereau spans 20 hectares of vineyards along the Côteaux du Layon, a tributary of the Loire . The estate was originally purchased by the Ogereau family in the 1890s and has been passed down ever since to its current custodians, husband-wife team Vincent & Catherine Ogereau. Now fully organic certified, Domaine Ogereau put the health of their vineyards and quality of their grapes above all else. Le Saint Lambert 2022 is made from 100% botrytised Chenin Blanc, a process which heightens the sugars in the grapes into dessert wine territory. Full-bodied and luscious, this wine is packed full of flavour with notes of baked peach, orange, caramel and spice. The finish is almost never-ending and makes for an awesome pair with blue cheese.
